A second plugin (which was actually created by a third-party developer) hooks into Foursquare, allowing you to change your telephony settings depending on where you’re located. For example, if you checked in at work, it would know to route any incoming calls to your office number rather than your house.
Since I have a pretty short e-mail address, I get a lot of misaddressed e-mail. Sometimes I can’t resist having a little fun.

foursquare bots.
Years ago I created an illustration of myself as a child. I affectionately called her ‘little mars’ and over the years I’d put her in various situations to help illustrate my life. When foursquare needed a default user icon for girls and boys, I jumped at the chance to use Little Mars for this. I altered her appearance slightly and created a boy version as well. Little Mars (aka marsbot) also shows up in various other places of the site/app if you know where to look. I’ve slowly been creating characters for some of my foursquare co-workers in the style of Marsbot. Can you guess who is who? (hint: the girl is actually supposed to be me)
PS these are a work in progress.

i work with some good-looking people.
Fail, it’s not in my dictionary. I’ve got a good dictionary up there and the words ‘fail’ and ‘failure’ have been ruled out for years. I don’t know what people are talking about who use that word. All I do know is temporary non-success, even if I’ve got to wait another 20 years for what I’m after, and I try to put that into people, no matter what their object in life.
An appendage to the idea of fail fast, fail often from the great trainer Percy Cerutty
Failure as temporary non-success.
